Good to know
- In big cities most people take a car through Didi (inside Alipay, in English). These cards are for street taxis, hotel staff and asking for directions.
- Taxis use a meter. If a driver refuses, show “Please use the meter” or find another taxi.
- “Open in Amap” searches the place in Amap (Gaode), the map app Chinese drivers use.
